Kanwal Preet Brar, born on January 22, 1968, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2007 Punjab cadre. She holds an M.A. and an M.Phil. Currently, she serves as Secretary in the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Punjab, a position she assumed on January 22, 2026. Throughout her career, she has held various roles including Managing Director, Chief Administrator, Special Secretary, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary to Government, Commissioner, and Deputy Commissioner. She continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to the administration of Punjab.
