Kant Baldi, born on 12 December 1959, is a retired IAS officer from the 1985 batch of the Himachal Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Public Administration, a B.Com. in Accountancy, and an LL.B. in Law. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Additional Chief Secretary in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from 9 May 2017. His extensive experience includes roles such as Principal Secretary, Director, Secretary, Collector to Chief Minister, Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, CEO, SDO, and Assistant Commissioner.
