Kannegi Packianathan, born on March 7, 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1992 Tamil Nadu cadre. She holds a postgraduate degree in English Literature. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including District Collector, Joint Commissioner, Secretary, and multiple director-level positions. Her most recent role was Special Secretary Director in the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries from June 30, 2009, to March 31, 2015. Her extensive experience spans administrative and leadership roles within the Tamil Nadu government until her retirement.
