Kanika, born on 27 July 1994, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2022 batch, assigned to the AGMUT cadre. She holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and a PG Diploma in Art Appreciation, Social Justice, Women and Society from Ashoka University. Currently, she serves as Deputy Commissioner at the Municipal Corporation of Delhi since 16 February 2026. Her previous roles include Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, and Co-District Commissioner. Kanika continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to public administration within her cadre and department.
