Kanchan Jain, born on 15 August 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Madhya Pradesh cadre. She holds a graduate degree in Zoology, a postgraduate degree in Zoology, and a postgraduate diploma in Forestry. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Principal Secretary, Managing Director, Ex-officio Secretary, Additional Secretary, Regional Director, Additional Commissioner, District Collector, Additional Collector, and Sub-Divisional Officer. From 1 July 2015 to 31 August 2018, she was the Director General in Madhya Pradesh. Her last known association was with the RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration and Management.
