Kanailal Biswas, born on 26 May 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 batch of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a graduate degree in English. During his career, he served as Additional District Magistrate and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Special Secretary at the National Commission on Cattle from 24 July 2001 to 31 May 2004.
