Kamran Rizvi, born on 24 October 1966, is a 1991 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.Tech. in Design Engineering from IIT Delhi. Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Department of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Heavy Industries, New Delhi (since 18 November 2022). His past roles include Officer on Special Duty, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Chairman and Managing Director, Commissioner, Secretary to Chief Minister, and District Collector and District Magistrate. He has received the National Award for e-Governance (2011-12), CAPAM International Innovations Gold Medal, and the Prime Minister Award for Excellence in Public Administration.
