Kamini Chauhan Ratan, born on 13 July 1971, is a 1997 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. She holds a B.Com. LL.B degree and is proficient in English and Hindi. Currently, she serves as the Principal Secretary in the State Tax Department of Uttar Pradesh since 7 December 2025. Her extensive career includes roles such as Assistant Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Chief Secretary of Gopanc Project, Commercial Tax Commissioner, Inspector General of Registration and Commissioner Stamp, District Magistrate, Managing Director, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Director, Chief Executive Officer, Joint Magistrate, and Additional Secretary. She continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
