Kalyani Sarkar, born on May 2, 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 West Bengal cadre. She holds a graduate degree in Economics. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Executive Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary, Director, and Secretary. Her most recent position was Secretary of the Animal Resources Development Department from July 28, 2009, to May 31, 2011.
