Kalpana Shrivastava, born on February 2, 1964, is a 1992 batch IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre. She holds a postgraduate degree in Modern Indian History and an M.A. Currently, she serves as the Principal Secretary of the Fishermen Welfare and Fisheries Development Department since December 21, 2021. Throughout her career, she has held various positions including Inspector General of Registration & Commissioner of Stamp, Commissioner, Managing Director, Secretary, Coordinator, Director, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Executive Director, Deputy Collector, Additional Collector, and SDO. She is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
