She holds a graduate degree in History from the University of Bombay and a postgraduate degree in Public Policy from Duke University, USA. Throughout her career, she has served in various capacities including Principal Secretary to the Hon’ble Governor, Principal Secretary to Government, Director General, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, Resident Commissioner, and District Magistrate among others. She retired as the Director General of the Administration and Management Academy Uttar Pradesh, a position she held from July 27, 2023.
