Kaling Tayeng, born on 29 July 1974, is a male IAS officer from the 1998 batch, serving in the AGMUT cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree in Computer Science. Currently, he is the Principal Secretary at Arunachal Pradesh, a position he has held since 21 August 2019, working in the Vigilance department. Throughout his career, he has served as Chief Election Officer, Secretary, and Special Secretary. He is proficient in Adi and English languages. Kaling Tayeng continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
