K Vijayanand, born on November 18, 1965, is a retired IAS officer from the 1992 Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.Tech. degree. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Collector, Project Director, State Project Director, Chief Electoral Officer, and Executive Officer to the Principal Secretary. He has also held senior roles such as Joint Managing Director, Managing Director, MD & CEO, Special Chief Secretary, and Chief Secretary to the Government. Most recently, he served as the Ex-Officio Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from March 2, 2026.
