K Vijayanand, born on November 18, 1965, is a retired IAS officer from the 1992 batch of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.Tech. degree. Throughout his career, he served in key administrative roles including Chief Secretary to the Government and Special Chief Secretary. Most recently, he held the position of Ex-Officio Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from March 2, 2026, until his retirement.
