K Vijayanand, born on November 18, 1965, is a retired IAS officer from the 1992 Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.Tech. degree. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub Collector, Joint Collector, Project Director, Chief Electoral Officer, Executive Officer Principal Secretary, Managing Director, Joint Managing Director, State Project Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Chief Secretary to Government, and Special Chief Secretary. Most recently, he held the position of Ex-Officio Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from March 2, 2026, until his retirement.
