K Sunitha, born on 15 January 1967, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1996 batch, Andhra Pradesh cadre. She holds an LL.B. and M.A. from Osmania University, Hyderabad. Currently, she serves as the Principal Secretary at Andhra Pradesh in the Economically Weaker Sections Welfare department since 5 June 2025. Throughout her career, she has held various positions including Deputy Commissioner, Principal Secretary to Government, Secretary, Executive Director, Commissioner, Mission Director, Collector & District Magistrate, Director, and Managing Director. She is proficient in English, Hindi, and Telugu. K Sunitha continues to serve in the IAS.
