K Sathiavasan, born on April 14, 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 West Bengal cadre. He holds postgraduate and graduate degrees in Chemistry. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Special Secretary, Director, Managing Director, Deputy Secretary, Joint Commissioner, District Magistrate, and other administrative roles. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary in the Planning and Statistics Department from November 20, 2013, to April 30, 2014.
