K S Vijayan, born on October 22, 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Kerala cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Civil Engineering and a postgraduate qualification in Hydraulics. Throughout his career, Vijayan served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Joint Secretary, Managing Director, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Controller in the Human Resources Department from January 1, 1993, to October 31, 1997.
