K S Prabhakara, born on 22 June 1953, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 Karnataka cadre. He served as Managing Director of the Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board from 28 January 2013 to 30 June 2013. Throughout his career, he held various positions including Secretary, Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, Joint Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Director, and General Manager. Prabhakara is a graduate and contributed to multiple departments within the Karnataka government during his tenure.
