K S Maran, born on October 16, 1948, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 batch, Madhya Pradesh cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Additional Secretary, Additional Collector, and CEO. His most recent position was Secretary in the Public and Rehabilitation Department of Madhya Pradesh from July 28, 2008, to October 31, 2008. Throughout his career, Maran contributed to the administrative framework of Madhya Pradesh before retiring from service.
