K S Jawahar Reddy, born on June 2, 1964, is a 1990 batch IAS officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc.). Currently serving as the Chief Secretary at Amravati since November 30, 2022, he has held various key positions including Secretary to the Chief Minister, Secretary to Government, Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, Metropolitan Commissioner, Vice Chairman, Managing Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Project Director, Joint Collector, Project Officer, and Sub Collector. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Telugu and continues to serve in the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
