Chief Secretary to Government, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, Karnataka
K Ratnaprabha, born on 13 March 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 Karnataka cadre. She holds postgraduate degrees in Sociology and English, and a graduate degree in Physical Chemistry. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Chief Secretary to the Government of Karnataka (30 November 2017 to 31 March 2018), Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Regional Commissioner, and Deputy Commissioner among others. Her service was primarily within the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department. Ratnaprabha's extensive administrative experience spans multiple leadership roles across the Karnataka state government.
