K Ramalingam, born on 20 February 1945, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds an LL.B. in Law, a postgraduate degree in Commerce, and an MBA in Business Administration. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub Collector, Managing Director, Director, Commissioner, Additional Secretary Director, and Additional Commissioner Director. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Department of Finance from 19 May 2003 to 28 February 2005. Mr. Ramalingam’s extensive service reflects his long-standing commitment to administrative roles within the Tamil Nadu government.
