K Rajamanickam, born on 14 May 1945, is a retired IAS officer from the 1985 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in English Literature. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary to the Chief Minister, Additional Secretary, District Collector, Director, Deputy Secretary, Secretary, District Revenue Officer, Joint Director, Managing Director, Personal Assistant, and Regional Manager. His most recent position was Commissioner at Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, from June 2001 to May 2005. He was associated with the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department during his service in the Indian Administrative Service.
