K R Shashidhar, born on 12 September 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 batch of the Karnataka cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Commissioner, Secretary, Project Director, Deputy Commissioner, Additional Registrar, Director, Chief Executive Officer, and Deputy Secretary. His most recent position was Commissioner at Bangalore, Karnataka, from 13 May 2011 to 30 September 2012. He was associated with the Department of Collegiate Education during his service.
