K R Jyothilal, born on 31 May 1969, is a 1993 batch IAS officer of the Kerala cadre. He holds a B.Tech. and an M.B.A. Currently, he serves as the Additional Chief Secretary at Kerala in the Finance Department since 6 May 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Principal Secretary, Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Executive Director, Director, District Collector, Assistant Collector, Sub Collector, and Probationer. He is proficient in English and Malayalam and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
