K Padmanabhaiah, born on October 6, 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1961 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in Geology. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Collector, Director, Commissioner, Managing Director, Joint Secretary, Secretary, and Minister. His most recent designation was OSD to Minister in Maharashtra. He was also associated with the Cabinet Secretariat. His extensive service reflects a broad administrative experience within the Indian government.
