K P Singh, born on 15 October 1945, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. During his career, he served in various capacities including Director, Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, and Joint Secretary. His most recent designation was District Magistrate from 1 August 1996 to 23 May 1997. He also held the position of Director of Census Operations in the Land Revenue Department. Singh’s extensive service in the IAS reflects his commitment to public administration in Uttar Pradesh.
