K P Ramaiah, born on 15 July 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 Bihar cadre. He holds a graduate degree in History and a postgraduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, Managing Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Additional Secretary, Director, and Officer on Special Duty to Minister. His most recent designation was Commissioner from January 2013 to July 2014. He also served as Director of Census Operations in the Land Revenue Department before retirement.
