Dr. K Manivasan, born on July 2, 1967, is a 1993 batch IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. degree and is currently serving as the Home Secretary of Tamil Nadu. Over his career, he has held various key positions including Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary to the Governor, Commissioner, Chairman and Managing Director, Additional Secretary, Joint Commissioner, District Collector, Additional Collector, Deputy Commissioner, Sub Collector, Director, and Assistant Collector. Dr. Manivasan is proficient in English and Tamil and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
