K Mahesh Lingam, born on November 19, 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1992 batch, Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree and has served in various capacities including Deputy Secretary, Joint Chief Electoral Officer, Special Officer, and Joint Collector. His most recent position was Joint Collector at Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh, from April 1, 2001, to November 30, 2002. Throughout his career, he contributed to the administration of Andhra Pradesh until his retirement.
