K M Subramanian, born on 14 October 1947, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds degrees in Law (LL.B.), Economics (Graduate), and Postgraduate Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Managing Director, Director, Commissioner, and Chairman and Managing Director. His most recent status was under suspension from 11 September 2006 to 31 October 2007. Subramanian's extensive experience spans multiple administrative and leadership roles within the Tamil Nadu government.
