Dr. K K Kak, born on May 2, 1945, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1968 Gujarat cadre. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Anthropology, along with graduate degrees in Law and Zoology. Over his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Managing Director, Additional Director, Under Secretary, Assistant Collector, Commissioner, Joint Secretary, OSD to Minister, Chief Vigilance Officer, Additional Development Commissioner, Joint Development Commissioner, Secretary & Commissioner. His most recent position was Joint Secretary at Delhi from December 1, 1995, to July 31, 1999.
