K K Dasgupta, born on March 23, 1940, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 batch, West Bengal cadre. He served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Director, Additional Executive Officer, and Junior Scale. His most recent appointment was as Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce from October 1, 1996, to March 31, 1998. Mr. Dasgupta holds postgraduate degrees in Labour Laws and History, along with a graduate degree in English.
