K. Harshavardhan, born on March 8, 1965, is a 2005 batch IAS officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree and has served in various capacities including Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Deputy Secretary, Director, Project Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Collector & Additional District Magistrate, and Secretary. As of July 12, 2024, he is serving as Secretary to Government in the Department of Minorities Welfare. He continues to be an active member of the Indian Administrative Service.
