Dr. K H Govinda Raj, born on 17 July 1968, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1995 Maharashtra cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. degree and is proficient in English and Kannada. Currently serving as the Principal Secretary at Mumbai in the Urban Development Department since 5 June 2023, Dr. Raj has held numerous positions including Additional Commissioner, Secretary to Government, Managing Director, Director, Commissioner, Special Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Municipal Commissioner, CEO, SDO, and Project Director. He continues to serve in the IAS with a diverse administrative background across multiple roles.
