K H G Gowda, born on 16 June 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 Karnataka cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Physics. During his career, he served in various capacities including Principal Secretary, Commissioner, Chairman and Managing Director, Chief Project Officer, Registrar, Project Administrator, Deputy Commissioner, and Director. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Bangalore, Karnataka, from 13 May 2011 to 30 June 2012. Gowda's extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Karnataka state government.
