K Gopalan, born on 21 October 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 Kerala cadre. He holds a graduate degree and has served in various capacities within the government. His most recent position was Additional Commissioner in the School Education and Literacy Department from 21 August 2003 to 31 October 2004. Prior to this, he held the roles of Secretary and Settlement Officer. Throughout his career, Gopalan contributed to the administration of Kerala’s public services until his retirement.
