K Deenabandu, born on 23 February 1953, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Joint Secretary, Managing Director, Commissioner, and Principal Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from June 2009 to February 2013. His extensive experience spans roles such as Project Director, Chairman and Managing Director, Deputy Secretary, and Settlement Officer, reflecting a diverse administrative tenure in Tamil Nadu.
