K D Parmar, born on 26 December 1935, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1975 Gujarat cadre. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Political Science, and graduate degrees in Economic Development and Law. Throughout his career, Parmar served in various capacities including Deputy Collector, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, District Development Officer, District Collector, Managing Director, Director, and Joint Secretary. His most recent appointment was as Settlement Commissioner at Gujarat’s Land Revenue department from December 1992 to December 1993. Parmar’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Gujarat cadre.
