K D Lakhani, born on 13 August 1966, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2011 Gujarat cadre. He holds a Master of Engineering degree in Civil. Currently, he serves as the Director of Labour at Gandhinagar in the Labour, Skill Development and Employment Department since 6 August 2024. His previous roles include District Collector, District Development Officer, and Secretary. Fluent in Gujarati, Mr. Lakhani continues to contribute to public administration within the Gujarat cadre.
