K C Mohapatra, born on February 1, 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1966 Gujarat cadre. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Under Secretary, Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, District Collector, Joint Secretary, Director Equivalent, Member, Secretary, Managing Director, Member Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, and Commissioner at Gujarat from February 1 to December 11, 2000. His most recent association was with the Disaster Management, Relief and Civil Defence Department.
