K B Valsalakumari, born on 13 October 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Kerala cadre. She holds a postgraduate degree and a graduate degree in English Literature. Over her career, she served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, Secretary, Project Director, Principal Secretary, and Director. Her most recent position was Director in the Disaster Management Department from 13 April 2012 to 31 October 2012. Valsalakumari's extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience across multiple roles within the Kerala state government.
