K B Thakkar, born on March 31, 1966, is a retired IAS officer from the 2014 batch of the Gujarat cadre. He holds a B.Com. degree in Accountancy from Bhavnagar University. During his career, he served as the District Development Officer and most recently as the Collector at Jamnagar from February 6, 2025, to March 25, 2026. Fluent in Gujarati, Mr. Thakkar contributed to the administrative framework of Gujarat until his retirement.
