K B Sivakumar, born on 17 July 1986, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2010 Karnataka cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree from SASTRA University, Tamil Nadu. Currently, he serves as the Commissioner in the Health and Family Welfare Services department of Karnataka since 29 August 2024. His previous roles include Managing Director, Ombudsman Director, Private Secretary to Minister, Deputy Commissioner - District Magistrate, Joint Secretary to Government, Deputy Secretary to Government, Additional Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Secretary, and Assistant Commissioner. He is proficient in English, Tamil, and Kannada. Sivakumar continues to serve in the IAS.
