Jyotsana Varma Ray, born on 07/09/1968, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1992 Jharkhand cadre. She holds a postgraduate degree in Economics. Over her career, she served in various capacities including Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Director, Project Director, Chief Vigilance Officer, and Special Secretary. From 23 October 2009 to 15 September 2017, she held the position of Deputy Director General Equivalent at the Asian Development Bank. Her extensive administrative experience spans multiple leadership roles within the government and international development sectors.
