Jyotsana Varma Ray, born on September 7, 1968, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1992 Jharkhand cadre. She holds a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Director, Project Director, Chief Vigilance Officer, and Special Secretary. From October 23, 2009, to September 15, 2017, she held the position of Deputy Director General Equivalent at the Asian Development Bank. Her extensive experience spans multiple leadership roles within the administrative framework before retiring from service.
