Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Secretary, Secretary, Managing Director, Special Secretary, Director, Commissioner, and Additional Director. His most recent position was Managing Director of the Himachal Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation (HBCFDC) from 3 February 2008 to 31 May 2009.
