Jps Puri, born on 31 July 1937, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Punjab cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree and a graduate degree in English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Director, Commissioner, and Joint Secretary. He was the Deputy Commissioner from 1 May 1993 to 1 July 1995. His most recent role was Director of Census Operations in the Land Revenue Department.
