Ajit Balaji Joshi, born on 01/01/1979, is a 2003 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Punjab cadre. He holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering. Currently, he serves as Administrative Secretary in the Panchayat and Rural Development Department from 03/03/2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Secretary, Director General, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Administrator, Excise Commissioner & Secretary, Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner, Commissioner, Administrator, ADC Cum CEO, Sub-Divisional Officer, Assistant Commissioner, and Director. He has received the Prime Minister's Award, Education for the Underprivileged Children, and the Distinguished Service Award, 2008.
