Ajit Balaji Joshi, born on January 1, 1979, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2003 Punjab cadre. He holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering. Currently serving as the Administrative Secretary in the Panchayat and Rural Development Department since March 3, 2025, Joshi has held numerous key positions including Secretary, Director General, Excise Commissioner & Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner, and Sub-Divisional Officer. He has been honored with the Prime Minister's Award for Education for the Underprivileged Children and the Distinguished Service Award in 2008. Joshi continues to serve in the IAS with a focus on administrative leadership.
