Jitin Yadav, born on 16 February 1988, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2016 batch, allocated to the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Physics from Delhi University. Currently, he serves as the District Magistrate of Cooch Behar since 19 March 2026. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Course Director, Member Secretary, Joint Secretary, Additional District Magistrate, Assistant Secretary, Assistant Magistrate and Collector, and Special Secretary. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
