Jitendra Kumar Sinha, born on 25 September 1970, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1996 batch, Tripura cadre. Currently serving as the Chief Secretary of Tripura since 12 July 2022, he holds a B.A., M.B.A., and a Postgraduate Diploma from IGNOU Delhi. His extensive career includes roles such as Principal Secretary to Government, Joint Secretary, Resident Commissioner, Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Additional Secretary, Secretary to Chief Minister, Commissioner of Taxes, Additional District Magistrate, Sub-Divisional Officer, and Assistant Collector. He is a recipient of the Champions of Change Award and is proficient in Bengali, English, Hindi, and Sanskrit.
