Jitendra Kumar Sinha, born on 25 September 1970, is a 1996 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Tripura cadre. He holds a B.A., M.B.A., and a PG Diploma from IGNOU Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Chief Secretary of Tripura since 12 July 2022. His previous roles include Principal Secretary to Government, Joint Secretary, Resident Commissioner, Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, OSD to CM, Additional Secretary, Secretary to CM, Commissioner of Taxes, Additional District Magistrate, SDO, and Assistant Collector. He has been honored with the Champions of Change Award. He is proficient in Bengali, English, Hindi, and Sanskrit.
