Jitendra Kumar, born on 26 June 1965, is a 1990 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Zoology. Currently, he serves as the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the Reorganization Coordination department since 19 May 2017. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Principal Secretary, Secretary, Special Secretary, District Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Chief Development Officer. Proficient in English and Hindi, Jitendra Kumar continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
