Currently, he serves as the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the Reorganization Coordination department since 19 May 2017. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Special Secretary, Principal Secretary to Government, Secretary, District Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, Chief Development Officer, Joint Secretary, and District Collector and Magistrate. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
